For the art lovers, Tashkent offers one of the largest exhibition halls in Central Asia, which houses not only collections of Uzbek famous masters but also of young artists who keep the traditions of Uzbek pictorial art giving them a modern twist.
Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts is located in the heart of Tashkent city close to Lotte City Hotel Tashkent Palace. The exhibition area is 2500 square meters with bright and spacious showrooms. The building itself is a work of art being decorated with national motifs from the outside.
Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts consists of a large showroom, a gift shop for buying traditional items and famous ‘Barkhan’ restaurant and bar. There is also a small park next to the building and an outdoor hall to display the exhibits in the summertime.
The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan organizes various cultural activities and exhibitions in the Central Exhibition Hall for the further development of the art culture in the country. Every year the Central Exhibition Hall hosts major cultural events on the national and international level.
