Introduction

Our Highlights of Kazakhstan Travel Package enables anyone to reveal all the hidden secrets and gems of Kazakhstan - the ninth largest country in the world, the land of vast steppes, crystal lakes, mountain ranges and traces of the Great Silk Road. The tour will be mainly concentrated in an amazing Almaty Region full of breathtaking natural and historical attractions. You will start your journey from Almaty city and follow the itinerary passing through Altyn Emel National Park, Charyn Canyon, Kaindy and Kolsai Lakes and Issyk Gorge. The tour is a great choice for those who seek striking natural landscapes, less discovered destinations, exotic food and a completely different approach to life!

Day 1 - Arrival in Almaty

Day 2 - Almaty City Tour

Almaty Green Bazaar - Zenkov Cathedral - St. Nicolas Cathedral

This day will be devoted to the full exploration of Almaty city which will begin at 10:00. The first visit will be to the famous Almaty Green Bazaar, where you will have a chance to taste plenty of sun-kissed fruits, various types of local nuts, dried fruits and homemade pickles. The city tour will proceed to one of Almaty’s oldest parks – Panfilov Park. Zenkov Cathedral located in the park will be our next stop. You will also visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame dedicated to the World War 2nd. This day you will also have a short and pleasant trip to Medeo Gorge which is a picturesque area located not far from Almaty. Then you will return to Almaty and visit Kok-Tobe Park – the favourite recreation area of locals. It is also known for the tallest TV tower in the world. The evening will end with a short ride by the famous Almaty Cable-car, which provides an excellent view of the city. Dinner will be organized in a local restaurant.

Thank you, Arara for organizing our holidays in beautiful Kazakhstan. This authentic country has so much to offer. We loved each and every city and region we visited. The tours started every day at 10 am. We had a nice breakfast at hotel; the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. Our guide Nuria was really in love with her country. We learnt so much from her about the history and culture of Kazakhstan. The timing was also quite well organized, as we hate spending too much time on the roads.

Hope to visit other countries of this historical region one day.
